What a great time we had at the Kalamazoo Kings game at Sutherland Field!!!
It was excitment all evening as the Kings took us through 12 innings to finally win 6-5.
It was kids night so there were lots of special activities for everyone.
Children received Free ice cream cone coupons from Meijers & back to school pencils.
There were free balloons and face painting. Some "big kids" in the crowd even received
coupons for 18 FREE holes of golf! The crowd reached a roaring pitch as frisbees,
Cracker Jack, t-shirts, base balls and other prizes were tossed into the stands.
After the game the kids (and young at heart) got to stampede onto the field and run the bases.
A wonderful display of fireworks ended a perfect evening. The club was also presented with
a check for $424.00 which we earned by selling tickets for the game.
