What do Airplanes and Corvettes have in comman? . . . They Fly!!!!!!

Sunday, June 18 started out with a cloudy, threatening look. It was enough to scare away any good Corvette owner, but not the KCC'ers! A group of 7 cars led by Don and MaryLou Oman started out from Center Street Park and Ride and headed South towards Three Rivers through the sprinkles. They were joined by The Arney's and the Kozalinks to make a club showing of 9. Some local vette owners joined us at the Dawn Patrol tarmac as well. The weather turned out to be great. It was overcast and breezy which kept it very comfortable out on the tarmac. There was a great crowd and all appreciated the beautfiul flying instruments on display . . . planes and vettes!

After the traditional Dawn Patrol pancake breakfast, we browsed through displays and watched planes do their takeoffs and landings. It was soon time for the all anticipated..ICE CREAM and BROWNIES at the Kozalinks River front home! We all had a wonderful time visiting and enjoying Pat and Bill's hospitality on their lovely veranda. We also had some unexpected little guests attending who were a delight to watch. A little family of Purple Finch with 4 brand new babies had taken up residence in one of Pat's hanging flower baskets. They added an extra smile to a special day - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY guys!!
