Lowspeed Event - Battle Creek/Harper Creek
June 12, 2005

The Lowspeed event started out with mapping out the course and placing cones the night before . . . in the pouring down rain! Ron Prosser, our race coordinator spent the night in his RV guarding the site until the troops began arriving around 7:00am for the big event!

Racing day started out grey and rainy, but soon dryed out and warmed up to sizzling temperatures. Workers and racers alike "kept their cools" though and the race went on. The day was a great success with excellent times and a near record turn out.

Our thanks to Cindy and Ron for all of their hard work. Also a big, "Thank you" to all the KCC workers who sweat and worked and made the day fun as well as successful!

Hat's off to all the racers too! Thank you for coming to the Kalamazoo Corvette Club Low Speed races. We appreciate you!
