HOT ROD POWER TOUR!
Indianapolis, Indiana based promotions company, Family Events, has selected the Kalamazoo Corvette Club as the Host Club for the Hot Rod Power Tour stop in Kalamazoo, Michigan, June 3rd, 2007.
Widely considered to be the finest high-end automotive tour in the world, the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour presented by GM Performance Division and co-sponsored by Flowmaster, embodies everything that HOT ROD Magazine has represented throughout its 57-year history. The seven-day, seven-city tour will wind its way through the midwest and will generate a nationwide buzz in the automotive enthusiast market.
The Tour will be a journey through the Midwest while Hot Rod enthusiast from all over the country can sightsee, explore and show off their custom car creations in car crazy towns all over the U.S. Throughout the seven days Hot Rod owners will be able to pick up and take off from any city following fellow car enthusiast to the final destination in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Kalamazoo Corvette Club was established in 1960, making it one of the oldest and most respected organizations devoted to promoting an automobile and it's heritage. The Club and it's members also belong to the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CORVETTE CLUBS INC. The N.C.C.C. ties the Kalamazoo Corvette Club to over 250 other clubs nation wide.
Kalamazoo Corvette Club Host Chairman for the Hot Rod Power Tour, Bill Siebel, has been a member of the club since 1971. "The last time the Hot Rod Power Tour came through Kalamazoo, a group of us strung the club banner on one of the overpasses along I-94. It was great to see the smiles and waves from the "Long Hauler" drivers, the folks that drive the entire tour. The Kalamazoo Corvette Club members jumped at the chance to have direct involvement with Power Tour during their over night stay in Kalamazoo."

Wednesday, June 6: Roberts Stadium - Evansville, Indiana
Thursday, June 7: Memphis Motorsports Park - Memphis, Tennessee
Friday, June 8: Arkansas State Fairgrounds - Little Rock, Arkansas
